BRANIFF TRAIL HISTORICAL PLAQUE PROJECT

Braniff Airways Foundation has embarked on memorial projects such as Braniff Trail, which honors (through plaques and state historical markers) and maps spaces from around the globe of historical significance to Braniff.

Braniff Flight 352 - Two plaques 18"x20" one honoring 50th Anniversary of crash and second honoring the passengers, crew and BI employees - was Dawson, Texas City Hall after 50th Anniversary Ceremony on May 3, 2018 - Placed May 3, 2018. (5)

Braniff Flight 352 Texas Worst Air Disaster State Historical Marker - Approved and will be placed across the road from the crash site east of Dawson, Texas. The Navarro County Historical Officer has given initial approval for the marker and application to Texas Historical Commission approved in 2019 and will be placed during 2021.

Braniff Flight 542 - Historical plaque for City Hall at Buffalo, Texas. Placed and Dedicated September 26, 2019 (6)

#1 British Flying Training School Museum Terrell, Texas - Plaque honoring Harding L. Lawrence and his first civilian job at the school - Plaque will be placed in July 2017 (8)
